About Me

Why Mining Engineering

I chose mining engineering because I wanted my work to matter -- literally. Every phone, battery, and solar panel starts with something pulled from the ground. Getting that right, responsibly, is the challenge I signed up for.

I believe mining done right powers the energy transition -- from lithium to copper, the materials for a cleaner future come from the ground.
I believe in field work over theory alone -- core logging, structural mapping, and geotechnical testing tell stories that no textbook can.
I believe technology makes mining safer -- automation, data science, and simulation are reshaping what's possible underground.
